The Place

Casa Iris Holiday house is in Impruneta village (Ponte a Iozzi hamlet) on the hills to the south of Florence at 7 km. from the city center . Immersed in the green of the tuscan country between vineyards,olive groves and oak woods the place offers a striking view over the hills looking out on Florence . The place is about 5 km. far from the A.1 Motorway (Exit Certosa) and from the Siena Freeway and represents an ideal starting point for visiting all the Chianti region . The center of Impruneta is at 10 minutes by car : a small pleasant town,famous for the “cotto” manufacture and for the production of an excellent Extravirgin olive oil . The place is well served by local public transportations towards the Florence Railways Station and to Impruneta .

The apartment

It is a 50 sq.metres flat which is part of a building of great architectural value immersed in the green of the tuscan countryside . It is set on the groundflooor and consists of a large livingroom with dining table with next a fully equipped kitchenette ,one double bedroom on the back and one small two single beds bedroom and one bathroom with shower . In front of the entrance is a private courtyard equipped with deckchairs and beach umbrella and next to the house a large garden with ancient trees where it’s possible to have dinner (bbq) , relaxing and sunbathing . Very beatiful walks can be taken starting from the house along no-traffic country roads . Local wine and olive oil can be purchased . The apartment is suitable for max. 4 people .
