The Place

The farmhouse is placed on the hills of San Casciano Village, halfway between the neighbourhoods of Spedaletto and Chiesanuova ,in one of the most striking landscapes around Florence with vineyards and olive groves surrounding the property .

Here the gaze sweeps over the city of Florence ,to the north,and the hills of San Casciano and Montespertoli,to the south-west ; eastwards, pine and oak woods are alternated with vineyards of San Giovese ,the grapes mainly used in the Chianti wine production .

The place is very close to Florence that is reachable in less than 30 minutes by car and at about 5 km. stands the entrance of the A.1 Motorway and the Freeway to Siena . Even though the farmhouse is in the open country,it is very near the village Spedaletto (less than two km.) and San Casciano village is about 4 km. far from here, with its shops,restaurants and all kind of services . An ideal place to enjoy the peacefulness of the Chianti countryside at few steps from the most famous tuscan resorts .

The farmhouse

The property consists of about 7 hectares half vine, half olive cultivated ,but the name of the farmhouse let you guess the presence of orchards with excellent fruits and vegetables in season. In the middle of the estate stands a typical stone farmhouse recently restored with care down to the last detail : the olive oil cellar, the wood-cypress doors,the stone wash-tub and the typical oil jars .

On one side of the farmhouse lies the apartment of the owners; on the other side ,at first floor, two contiguous apartments have been restored : one has two double bedrooms (VITE) ,the other,one double bedroom (OLIVO) . Both have the kitchen with dining table + living area and a bathroom with shower stall . A beautiful and equipped garden surrounds the apartments . The two apartments can be let together for numerous families or groups.
