The place

The apartment is set in San Niccolò old neighbourhood , a bit over the homonymous gate once dividing the town from the country to the south of Florence and still maintaining intact a long stretch of the town walls towards Forte Belvedere,easily reachable by foot from the apartment .

As regards to the historical centre, the neighbourhood is set on the other side of the Arno river ,at halfway between Ponte San Niccolò and Ponte alle Grazie in front of Santa Croce neighbourhood , at about 5 minutes of walking distance . So,the place is really central, but, for its particular location, it is placed at the foot of the most famous hill of Florence : the one bringing visitors to Piazzale Michelangelo and Viale dei Colli , in the middle of beautiful parks and meeting with very important places as the church of San Miniato al Monte and the late-renaissance fortress of Forte Belvedere. There is no better place than this for visitors wishing to live in the city centre but also enjoy the most famous landscape of Florence and take a beautiful walk along the parks .

The apartment

At few steps from the apartment stands the San Niccolò neighbourhood with its restaurants,pubs,workshops and typical stores . The apartment is set at the beginning of Via di Belvedere and stands at the groundfloor : it is a well furnished and comfortable small apartment which consists of a dining-room with a kitchenette facing a quiet small terrace . Next the bathroom with a shower . On the back open a two single beds bedroom ( the two beds can be joined together on request) . The apartment is about 40 sq.metres large and has two sleeps .
