The place

The apartment is in Florence in the San Niccolò neighbourhood (Oltrarno) in Via della Fornace ,parallel road to the Lungarno Cellini which from Piazza Ferrucci leads to the Ponte alle Grazie . We are at the slopes of the hill which brings to the Piazzale Michelangelo,famous panoramic terrace which from Piazza Poggi can be easily reached by foot through the “Rampe” :a suggesting walk in the green with unexpected breathtaking views over the monuments of Florence .

The location of the apartment is very convenient: in less than 10 minutes of walking distance you are in Piazza Santa Croce or at the Old Bridge . The road is safe,quiet,almost secluded,out of the noises of the town traffic an surrounded by wonderful gardens . At short distance from the apartment ,in the Piazza Ferrucci area, it’s possible to find all sort of shops and facilities . Furthermore the neighbourhood is well served by public transportations both to the historical center and to the main avenues .

The apartment

The apartment is set out of the pedestrian area,so that it can be reached even by car parking just in the road or in the close-by parking lot of Piazza Poggi . The apartment Recently restored and finely furnished the apartment is very bright and it is set on the second floor of a building which faces the hill with a view over the gardens and the olive groves.

The apartment consists of a large living room with two windows and a dining area with , next ,a fully equipped kitchenette . On the back open a large room shared in two sleeping areas, each with a single bed , and one double bedroom ( or two single beds on request) with a view over the dome of the Cathedral . The bathrooms are two : one with bath tub and shower,the other with w.c and wash basin . Next to the bedroom open a small room which serves as wardrobe . The apartment is about 80 sq.meters large and accommodates 4 people . Ideal for families or couples of friends .
