The place

The apartment is set in Florence in Bonifacio Lupi road in the area of Viale Lavagnini close to the Libertà square . The historical center is reachable in about 15 minutes of walking distance as well as the central Railway Station of Santa Maria Novella . It is a prestigious residential neighbourhood made of buildings in Art-Nouveau style dated back to the beginning of the XX° century . The area is well served with shops and services of all sort . Even the public transportations are present at short distance from the apartment . The area is close to traffic and it’s not allowed to get in the road or park the car along it . Guests need to obtain a temporary permit from the local police for that . Nevertheless it’s possible to park the car along the Lavagnini avenue or at the public parking lot in Liberta’ square . The location is very convenient also for visitors of the Da Basso Fortress ( exhibitions center) .

The apartment

The house is on the first floor (no lift) of an elegant art-nouveau building with large rooms, high ceilings decorated with figures and stuccoes . An elegant grand staircase leads to the apartment which consists ,on the main floor,of an entrance,two double bedrooms with dressing room,a very bright conservatory which serves as livingroom,one study with TV and balcony and one large diningroom with equipped kitchen .On the upper floor :another two single beds bedroom+bathroom with shower. On the back open a large terrace (30 sq.meters) ideal for relaxing and having dinner . The apartment is about 130 sq.meters and accommodates 4 people . All the rooms (except the conservatory) give onto the gardens with no problem of noisiness.
