The place
The apartments are set in Florence in Via dei Tavolini, a side road of Via Calzaioli,one of the most elegant and exclusive roads in the city center next to the famous Piazza della Signoria .
We are in the heart of the medieval town at short distance from the Dante Alighieri’s house: A maze of alleys full of shops, “trattorie” and all kind of facilities . Just in front of the apartments lies a big Coin department store . From here it’s possible to reach by foot the most part of the Florentine monuments : the Uffizi Gallery or the Bargello Palace ; the church of Orsammichele as well as the Badia Fiorentina ; The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Santa Croce Church .
Just next to the apartments , in the small Cerchi square , you can catch one of the electric shuttles running towards the main Florence destinations as Piazza della Stazione ( Railway Station Santa Maria Novella) , Piazza Beccaria,the Oltrarno neighbourhoods as well as Porta al Prato square . The location is set in a pedestrian area close to traffic : coming by car it’s advisable to book in advance a car place in one of the numerous downtown private garages .
The apartments
Two twins two roomed flats set on the 1st and 2nd floor respectively (with elevator) of an historical building dated back to the 14th century They both have been recently restored with all comforts and cares . Both the apartments have ,at the entrance, a passageway with wardrobe which leads to a bed room,a bathroom with shower and to a dining room with next a fully equipped kitchenette . The bedrooms are both very spacious :
-in the first floor apartment the bedroom have been shared from a bookcase in two spaces : small livingroom and two single beds bedroom .
-in the second floor apartment the bedroom has no separation :it consists of a double bedroom with next a living area with sofa bed . Both the bedrooms have two windows facing the Tavolini road .
The apartments are 50 sq.meters large and accommodate 2 bed places . In case of need it’s possible to add one more bed in the bedroom . Suitable for couples with one child or singles .
