Location
The position is one of the most striking you can find on the hillside in East Florence ; situated next to the Settignano hillside and close to the ancient castle of Montalbano from which it is possible to overlook the whole city of Florence,the Bed&Breakfast was obtained from the restoration of one of the ancient properties set around the castle .
Placed in the tuscan countryside and surrounded by olive trees, the holiday-home represents an oasis of quietness and relax,though it is very near the city that it is far from here less than 4 km . Ideal for visiting Florence and its surroundings, here you can also enjoy the landscapes and the cool of the tuscan countryside . The Bed&Breakfast The Bed&Breakfast Villa Le Colline is really next to the walls of Montalbano Castle with its stately ramparts and counterforts . Arrived at a gate you can get in walking along a small drive which brings to the building surrounded by gardens and areas paved with the famous “ cotto fiorentino” .
Outdoor areas : The building is surrounded by green spaces : one large garden in front of the house which brings ,through a stone staircase,to a second green area and to a large terrace where to have dinner using a stone barbecue . A small drive brings to the top of the hill from where you can admire a striking view over the castle and the city .
Groundfloor : In front of the entrance open a bright porch which brings to the building with a spacious kitchen on the right and one bathroom . On the left open a large room shared in two spaces from an arcade : the living room with a fireplace and the breakfast room.
First floor : At the first floor open two spacious double bedrooms both with a private bathroom with shower. Between them open a large double bedroom without bathroom.
Mansard : On the top floor open a suite-mansard formed by a small living room and a mezzanine with two single beds bringing to a bathroom with shower and a small room with a third bed .
The entire building offers 4 double bedrooms (3 with private bathroom and 1 with bathroom in common) for 9 bed places in all.
